Howdy Y'all! ArtsFest is an Event at the Lafon Performing Arts Center, where my Digital Media Class is. Digital Media and Interactive Media got together to make a large coloring sheet for a wall. It was 40in by 108x. We divided it into 18 pieces and got started.
Me and two of my fellow designers realize
d that our assigned pieces were next to each others', so we planned an overlap between them.
After this, I entered Illustrator. I drew a flower as part of the bubbly overlap. This then shaped my entire idea. I drew a garden floor scene with insects, flowers, and a spider.
I repeatedly printed my drawing to scale to see how it looked. It kept getting better and better. Eventually, I had to stop, I had filled up so much space.
Then came ArtsFest. I was one of the volunteers. It was amazing to see the entire coloring sheet printed and on the wall. What was even better was seeing the people coloring it.
